Everything you need to make the most of your time at Monocabin Retreat.

Arrival & Access

Monocabin Retreat is accessed through a private gate and includes dedicated parking within the property.

A remote for the gate will be shared with you at check in. 

WiFi & Connectivity

WiFi is available throughout the retreat.

To connect, simply select the network and enter the password above.

Hot Water

Hot water is provided through a solar water heating system, taking advantage of Rhodes' abundant sunshine throughout the year.

Please note that prolonged periods of cloudy weather may slightly affect water temperature.

Filtered Drinking Water

The kitchen is equipped with a GROHE filtered drinking water system.

Simply use the small handle located on the left side of the tap to access filtered drinking water.

Air Conditioning

The air conditioning system has been preconfigured to ensure optimal comfort and efficiency.

Feel free to adjust the temperature according to your preference, but please avoid modifying other settings.

Washing Machine & Iron

You will find the washing machine on your left down by the door of the bathroom. It is incorporated in the kitchen furniture.

You will find the iron & ironing board in the dressing zone on top shelf. 

Smart TV

The television provides access to streaming platforms through your personal accounts. Before departure, please remember to sign out of all services used during your stay. Please avoid changing the system language or device settings.

If you want to turn off the screensaver, please press 3 seconds on the power button. 

HiFi System

Turn on the amplifier using the remote which is positioned in the dressing area and connect to "SHARP CP-SS30" through Bluetooth. To do that, you need press “ON” with the remote control which is placed in the dressing area followed by press the symbol of bluetooth.

Please be mindful of the volume and respectful of the surrounding neighborhood.

Plunge Pool

The plunge pool is intended for relaxation and cooling off.

For everyone's safety:

• No diving
• No glass objects in or around the pool
• Pool surfaces may become slippery when wet

BBQ

The outdoor cooking area is equipped with an electric barbecue. You will find it on the wooden furniture in the patio.

Please never leave the barbecue unattended while in use and ensure it is completely switched off after cooking.

Take extra care during periods of high wind.

Mini Bar

To ensure you receive exactly what you enjoy, we stock the minibar upon request rather than keeping a standard selection.

It would be our pleasure to offer you a selection of local beverages and refreshments. Simply let us know your preferences, and we will be happy to prepare everything before your arrival whenever possible.

Beach Kit

We have designed a beach kit with all essentials for effortless days by the sea: tote bag, beach towel, insulated bottle, notebook & pen.

It is available for purchase for €120.

If you would like one or two, simply let us know and we will be happy to bring it to you!

Gardener

We would like to inform you that our gardener occasionally comes to take care of the plants in the morning at 9:00 AM. We will notify you in advance if this happens during your stay.

Fire Extinguisher & First Aid Kit

You will find the fire extinguisher and first aid kit inside the wooden furniture in the patio on its right. 

Halo Mag

You will find on the patio hanging the lights Halo Mag. For handling them correctly:

- Double click to switch on.
- Press for 2 seconds to switch off.
- One click to switch between the different intensities.

To recharge them, you will find their power station next to the bbq. 

Waste

You will find at the back of the house near the entry gate a garbage bin for you to dispose your waste.

Let us know if it gets full and we will explain you where is located the communal waste area. 

Sun Beds & Sun Umbrella

Please do not move the position of the sun beds and sun umbrella.

In case of wind, please make sure to close the sun umbrella next to pool if you used it. 

Windows

The large windows have been designed to create a seamless connection between indoors and outdoors.

Please operate them gently and avoid forcing the mechanism.

Taxi Rhodes

Taxis are available throughout the island and can take you to beaches, villages, Rhodes Town, the airport, and other destinations across Rhodes. During the summer season, we recommend booking in advance, especially for early morning or evening journeys.

Check out

Before departure of Monocabin Retreat, please:

  • Switch off the air conditioning.

  • Sign out of any streaming accounts.

  • Dispose of waste responsibly.

  • Pull off the sheets and pillowcases, leaving them in a neat pile on the mattress.

  • Leave the retreat in the same condition in which you found it.

Kindly note that an in-person check-out is required. Viviane will meet you at 11:00 AM for the key handover and confirmation of the return of your security deposit.
